First off, just a friendly reminder that there is no school tomorrow.
In Social studies today we located Canada on a world map and a map of North America, Alberta on a map of Canada, and finally Fort McMurray on a map of Alberta. It was lots of fun learning all about where we live.
Today we learned the letter Hh.
When we learned these letter we pretended that we were out of breath.
We also learned the word family en.
We made words like pen, Ken, den and men.
This weekend please print up the Ee, Hh and Rr action cards that are located at the bottom of the following page
Also, please add pages 6 and 7 to the word family flash cards we started last week.
This afternoon we did the Terry Fox run and the students all ran 10 or more laps of the soccer field. There were some pretty red faces when they were done. We also watched a short movie about Terry Fox which you can access by clicking on the link below:
