In Language Arts today we read the story "Birthday Party PANDAmonium". It was a story about a little girl's birthday party where all the guests showed up in animal costumes. We then wrote the following sentence in our journals:
If I went to a costume party I would dress up as a _________________.
Students tried really hard to sound out their costume on their own and worked at writing neatly in their journals.
In math today we continued to work on numbers to 10. Specifically, we worked on number words to 10. Go to the following link to practice a number words slideshow.
