For Language Arts we started a descriptive writing activity about the Easter Bunny. The primary purpose of descriptive writing is to
describe a person, place or thing in such a way that a person can imagine it in their mind. Good descriptive writing
involves paying close attention to the details. Descriptive writing helps develop student writing that is more interesting and full of details, encourages students to use new vocabulary words and helps students clarify their understanding of new subject matter.
