Tonight in students homework bag there is a permission slip for picture day because if the weather is nice it will be across the street in the trees.  Please fill out the form and return it by Thursday.

Also, please remember to return all Purdy's fundraising tomorrow as I would like to get the orders sent off as soon as possible.  The students are so excited for the ipods and can't wait for me to order them.

Today we learned the letter Gg.

When we learned this letter we pretended that water was gurgling down the drain.

We also learned the word family ag.

We made words like rag, brag, tag and wag.

In language arts today we read the poem "Five Little Monkeys".  We also worked on different reading strategies to read the story "Jump In" as a class.  The reading strategies we used can be found on the bookmark below.

In Math today, we worked on identifying and creating repeating patterns.  We also plated the fun game below:
