We made it through our first week of school, YEAH!!!!  The students are settling into full days and are beginning to pick up all of the new routines.

Tonight our first weeks worth of centres will be coming home.  Students get about 50 mins a day to work on their centres.  While students work on centres I am working one on one with students or reading in small groups.  Please review centres when they come home and if you have time feel free to work with your child to complete any centres he/she did not finish at school.

In Language Arts today we reviewed the letters we learned this week Ss, Aa, and Tt.  We also played a fun game where we had to match the beginning letter sounds.

We started our feelings health unit today.  We watched a fun video with Elmo that the students really enjoyed.  Elmo was singing with the Goo Goo Dolls and was definitely having a good time.

For Art today we made a picture based on the book "Matthew's Dream" by Leo Lionni.  Check out the beautiful results below.
