In Jolly Phonics today we learned the digraph (when 2 consonants combine to make a new sound) sh.
When we learned this digraph we pretended that we were "shhhhhing" a baby.

We also learned the word family ish.

We thought of words like fish, wish, dish and swish.

In language arts today we did a rhyming activity after listening to the song "Down by The Bay".  The students came up with their own rhymes which you can check out at Student-Led Conferences.

In math today we finished up our numbers 1-20 unit by doing a unit test.  They should be corrected and coming home tomorrow.

Have a great night!
