Today we learned the letter Aa.

When we learned this letter we pretended that we had ants on our arms.

We started Social Studies today, we watched the movie “Franklin’s Secret Club".  After we talked about special groups that we belong to.

In Math we continued to review the numbers 1-3.  We got to colour a 123 butterfly when we were done our work.

Today was our second day of school.  We got to go to gym and meet our gym teacher Mrs. Stuckless.  Gym is awesome!

Today we learned the letter Ss.

Later in the morning we did a fun activity that we are bringing home called "Math About Me"

In Math we also reviewed the numbers 1, 2 and 3.

Today was our first day of school.  It was lots of fun.  This morning we organised our school supplies.
Then we played a fun game to learn the names of our classmates.
We also got to use the Promethean Board in our class.  It is a big board that you use a stylus to manipulate.  We did calendar, read the story "If You Bring a Mouse to School" and learned our classroom rules.
Another cool thing we did was eat lunch in our classroom and have a second outdoor recess!!!
This afternoon we did a fun craft called "Take a Peek at Your Class"

We had fun in grade 1E today and we can't wait until tomorrow!
